Energy Management Systems
With on going Innovation within our Industry, Energy Management Systems are being pushed to the forefront of our Industry, due to the high increasing costs of Hydro. Hydro consumption for operating a dust collector is one of the highest consuming energy sources within your operations. Therefore implementing Energy Management Systems into your operations will not only help with your ROI on your initial purchase and save on Hydro costs, but will help with lowering maintenance costs as well. Depending on the demand the unit will not need to run at full maximum power like a traditional dust collector would. It will run only on demand and at certain capacity flow rate depending on production needs. As capacity is ramped up within production through electrical interlocking using VFD (variable frequency drive) controlling and Auto Gates this will manage the system. There are a few different management systems available in today's Industry, along with local hydro utility supplier incentives and rebates for your installation projects.
